God's Wonderful Gift!

Wow. I still can't believe it! I actually own a truck now! And the best thing is that it was totally free! God provides in such amazing ways.
Here it is!!!!
Here is how it happened. This weekend some good friends of ours, Jim and Carmen L---, who are more like family to us, told us that they were planning on selling their '99 white Ford Ranger. They asked us if I would like it and emailed some pictures to us. At first, I wasn't too sure about it because it looked like a really nice truck; it has a camper and is in excellent condition. I was sure that it was going to cost more money than I had. So, my dad emailed them back and told them that it was a nice truck and we would consider it and also asked for their phone number. We were not sure how much they were asking for it.

The email that they sent back was too good to be true. They said that they didn't indicate a price; it was $0.00!!!! All of us were stunned for awhile. Then, when it finally hit us, we celebrated and thanked God for this wonderful gift.
Thank y'all!!!
I have never really pictured myself driving a truck, but this truck actually looks girly; not like a total guy's truck. =) I plan on adding some pink. ;) I have been busy driving my parents and siblings around. It has been really fun.

The funny thing is that I haven't really been praying for a car, or truck. I've been praying for a job at Chick-Fil-A, but not a vehicle. Honestly, I didn't think I would own one for another year or so, until I earned some more money. God had other plans, though, and I'm so thankful for His perfect will. I'm also so thankful for "Uncle" Jim and "Aunt" Carmen for blessing me with this wonderful gift. At the title office, we decided to change their titles, too! It's official...they are family!
My parents gave me this "C" key-chain for my birthday. Now I can use it!
